I should mention that I do still love SW Natural Choice and don’t think you can go wrong with that one either.
When set against a color such as Extra White, you will notice Alabaster’s warm hints. I decided I wanted to go even lighter and Pearly White was in the for the win. My builder is giving me one coat of one color through the entire interior and I chose SW 9014 Eider White for a hint of gray in order to avoid bright white walls to start. Alabaster is gorgeous but I wanted something slightly more beige – but not as yellow as the antique white that I currently had. After choosing Eider White, I will say it is my favorite most perfect choice for now. I also love how it pairs well with Dover White in the two photos about above! As a reminder, here is how our house currently looks. So back to the drawing board of another 2 hours of going back and forth trying to pick a perfect white. Oh, and if you want a white white, go for Extra White. Put another way, it is the darkest white listed. Sherwin Williams’ Alabaster, which Brittany of Addison’s Wonderland used in several rooms of her amazing historic home, is a warm white that is quite similar to Benjamin Moore’s White Dove. No not looking for a White-white.
If you pay attention to color design trends, white has been a top color choice for both Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore as their “Color of the Year.” In 2016, Alabaster was the Sherwin-Williams COTY and Simply White … Eider White has a LVR of 73, meaning it has the most color in it of all of the whites discussed.
Sherwin Williams Alabaster 7008, Sherwin Williams Marshmallow 7001, and Farrow & Ball (1/2 formula) “Lime White” are my go-to whites for creamy white walls.

Actually that’s why alabaster won’t work it’s too light and too white. Just like Alabaster, Greek Villa SW 7551 has greige undertones to it. I am presently doing a kitchen remodel.
