I've read countless reviews where people have expressed their extreme displeasure that Jo didn't "hook up" with Laurie, and that Alcott did a terrible mistake having him end up with Amy instead, even though when you think about it, Amy and Laurie were indeed a better match than Jo and Laurie could ever be.
