Put differently: On some tracks RE-71r are marginally quicker than hard R compound tires like R888R of the same size. The wet performance is much larger then the dry. The PSS, RE71R, and R1R are not even in the same category as each other.
I have a 2012 Nismo, and I'd probably go down to 275/35 R19 on the rear.
